Lupa Labs believes that QA brings integrity to a project through reinforcement of human insights. Our planning documentation includes preparation of QA Plans, Test Cases, and Test Scripts designed for manual execution. These are prepared on request, tailored to the specifics of your campaign, and no two are alike.
We see QA as not only ensuring things work as they are meant to but anticipating the unexpected.
The earlier Lupa is introduced to a project the better. Early in the project we can work on documentation, planning, and add testing insights. We are of course often called upon at a later stage of development (or even during a troubled deployment) to ensure the campaign is a success.
All testing is performed out of our QA Labs. While emulators can be useful in filling in the gaps, we far prefer testing on actual devices. That’s why we’re loaded down with iPhones, Android & BlackBerry phones, tablets, PCs, and Macs. We’ve left no stone uncovered.
Part of our task is to measure the human interactive experience of the project. Are there any obstacles to reaching a goal? Is a site or contest's flow logical enough for as big an audience as possible? While reviewing a site's functionality, is there an opportunity to further enhance a client's success in achieving their objective? These are questions we continually ask ourselves during a project's planning stages, all the way to testing.
We also host our own defect tracking system and make it available to you so that you can track testing progress and, more importantly, your development team can address variances in real-time. We also utilize reporting platforms like BugHerd, JIRA, and Mantis.
Quality assurance is an important step in any digital project and should not be skipped. A broken link or a misspelled word may seem like trivial mistakes, but they can greatly undermine the credibility of a digital campaign.
